Abstract

What are the caracteristics of the political leader that Colombia needs to achieve proper growing and welfare indicators for its inhabitants, mending basic needs of the person in broad of pacific living with others? In this essay, the author proposes three items which, by nature or manner, political leaders must have in account -identification, integrity and comunication-. Making a historic vision and prospective at the same time, invites the reader to understand that the lack of these caracteristics in their leaders, has been one of the principal causes for the critical situation of the country now a days.

Comunicador social y periodista de la Universidad de La Sabana con master en Evaluación de Impacto Ambiental del Instituto Superior de Investigaciones Ecológicas, especialista en Gerencia de Proyectos de la Universidad Piloto de Colombia y especialista en Periodismo Económico de la Universidad de La Sabana, donde actualmente ejerce como profesor de la asignatura Comunicación para el Desarrollo.
