A variety of experiences in cultural activism surfaced in Argentina during the nineties. Their objective was to generate action for cultural promotion in relation to territorial movements, recovered companies and other groups that were in command of the various initiatives for collective action undertaken during that period in the city of Buenos Aires and its outlying suburban area.
Based on research into videoactivism and the new forms of political-cultural intervention witnessed in the nineties, this study attempts to explain how those experiences and their modes of intervention are related directly to the framework for interaction to be addressed within the context of the economic, political and cultural changes that emerged during the period in question.
