This article shows partial results of certain research carried out on Structure and Concentration of the Cultural Industries and Telecommunications in Latin America wich study details, by means of data taken over year 2000, the structure of the industries of culture, communication, and information in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, México, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela. Likewise, it establishes a comparison on the development and impact of the sector in Latin America, based on access and invoicing indicators permitting us to observe the size of the press, books, CDs, cinema, free and paid television, radio, and fixed and mobile telephony markets.Downloads
