Abstract

In this article, the author emphasizes the changes occurred in communication media with the advent of digital support, specially in the way of dealing with language. The author analyzes the impact these innovations have in training communicators and journalists given that new technologies have modified the schema and traditional narrating practices emerging from the hypertext or non-linear writing that allows the user to read in an interactive screen, joining text blocks giving him the possibility to the user of selecting different paths.

Author Biography

Patricia Asmar Amador, Universidad del Rosario

Realizó estudios de comunicación en la Universidad Javeriana. Se doctoró en Comunicación Pública en la Universidad de Navarra (España). Ha sido profesora de Teoría del Discurso en la Facultad de Comunicación de la Universidad de La Sabana, en la que ocupó el cargo de Vicedecana de 1993 a 1997. En la actualidad, es profesora investigadora de la Universidad del Rosario.
