Abstract

The article looks at the possiblitity of approaching narration, in this case audiovisual, from a poetic perspective which takes into consideration the artistic endeavour, and that can give an account for the discourse referent, not only understood as textual self-generation, but also as human action which departs from the real world and reverts back to it by way of interaction with the senses.

Author Biography

Ricardo Quintero Meza, Universidad de La Sabana

Profesor de Cine y Lenguaje Audiovisual en la Facultad de Comunicación Social y Periodismo de la Universidad de La Sabana. Está realizando estudios de doctorado en Comunicación Pública en la Universidad de Navarra (España). Es autor de varias publicaciones, entre las cuales se destacan Información y poética (una aproximación a la noticia como acción humana), El protagonista en el relato informativo. En la actualidad dirige los siguientes proyectos de investigación: Manual crítico de las teorías cinematográficas y Relaciones, diferencias e influencias narrativas entre el cine y el Nuevo Periodismo.
