This review examines Adrián Bertorello’s book, which offers a hybrid interpretation of Heidegger’s Fundamental Questions of Philosophy course. Drawing from the concepts of Ereignis and Dasein, the author develops a theory of “iconic enunciation,” blending semiotics and ontology. The “play space” becomes a condition for the emergence of meaning, where tensions between image, language, and discourse generate symbolic territories. Bertorello integrates the ideas of Heidegger, Bredekamp, and Lotman to challenge linguistic models and provide a philosophical reflection on iconic acts and semiotic spatiality.
