Entre ecología y epistemología de la vida plataformizada: incorporación, interpasividad y premediación en los procesos de comunicación

Resumen

El artículo pretende presentar una fenomenología de las relaciones con, a través y entre los medios digitales en un contexto de cultura plataformizada. Mediante el análisis de un conjunto de prácticas sociales mediadas por tecnologías digitales, se esboza la reconfiguración de un nuevo campo de experiencias propicio para la formación de nuevos habitus cognitivos y perceptivos. Para comprender este nuevo escenario sociotécnico, mostramos el potencial heurístico de una metodología analítica basada en la articulación entre las categorías de media ecology, material engagement e affordance. La complementariedad de estos tres prismas interpretativos resulta pertinente en el contexto de la crítica cultural a la plataformización de las identidades, los dispositivos de poder computacional, los procesos de valorización social y la epistemología que los sustenta.
